Woodward Restaurant

I came here on a whim as my home is being renovated and I’m without a kitchen. The staff was friendly and attentive, portion sizes were generous, prices were very fair, food came out quickly. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. This place is perfect for contractors looking to get a quality breakfast quickly that isn’t ultra processed like the fast food restaurants. I’ll definitely be back!

Met up with old Hamilton buddy for Friday morning Breakfast. Place was spacious, open concept, very clean and up to date design. Our server was very attentive, polite and served us hot coffees right off the bat. We ordered your standard sausages over easy eggs and fried home fries. The meal was perfect!!! Friendly staff cleared our table when we finished, very effortless. If you looking for your ideal greasy spoon look no further!! Lots of parking to choose from with a questionable sign on building. Please if you are a person which judges a book by the cover this place is not for YOU.Would eat here again : )Serge

Oh heck yes , the place is full all day most weekends so plan accordingly, great service , great prices, monte Cristo sandwich is a hidden gem. Breakfast is the go to.Small kitchen and lots of people eat here so service times are not on par with Amazon breakfast delivery. Fantastic old-school diner experience! A breakfast counter and lots of seating for small and larger groupings. The friendly welcoming service is exactly what you'd expect in a local business like Woodward. It was obvious there are many regulars who were greeted by name and knew the staff as well.In spite of the inflation we're all struggling with, the Woodward continues to be reasonably priced, especially with the generous portions (I could barely finish the Woodward Special 2 - but did because I'm not a quitter).It can be very busy, but turnover is quick, so be patient - it is worth it.Bring cash (although an ATM is available) for payment.Support a local business! Highly recommended!

Tradicional old fashioned restaurant, with family ambience. Food is really good, the fries, sausages (both farmers and traditional), bacon were delicious. Coffee was really good as well, washroom in decent condition. They only do cash, but you have an operating ATM inside. Now it’s my favorite breakfast place. I’m not from the area, but I’ll drive 20 minutes just to get there again by all means.

I had the opportunity to try this little hidden gem! I love breakfast & always looking for a new spot to try. This spot has been here for quite some time, but I just discovered it & I am very happy that I did!!Food was amazing. I got Dave's favorite omelet w/ a side of fries. Nice size portions for the price!! The omelet didn't disappoint!Very well cooked & tasty!! The server we had was wonderful (sorry I couldn't remember her name)Very friendly!I will definitely be back !!

The usual weekend breakfast search ending up on this little unassuming building on Woodward ave in Hamilton. A cozy bright location that was recently renovated. Good sized breakfast menu with some local specials. Generous sized portions with excellent food quality! Coffee is hot and flavorful! Great service and friendly staff. A definite return!5 stars!

I drive by every day and often wonder what it's like and say some day I'll stop in. Well, last weekend was "the day". Bright, super clean and cheerful staff and the food was great. I like my eggs poached and they were perfect! Prices are in line and portions were huge. It will become our regular "go to" breakfast place. Only open until 2pm!! Lots of breakfast options too.
